The Synaxis of the Holy Twelve Apostles is commemorated on June 30, on the day after the commemoration of the Glorious and First-Ranked among the Apostles Peter and Paul.

The sides and the back of the icon are painted Byzantine red. On the gold gilded background icons, the name of the saint may be written in various languages: Greek, English, French or Russian. On the 9.75" X 13.5" size only, a resistant epoxy varnish with a beautiful crystal finish is applied.
