Christ Pantocrator, Russian orthodox style icon mounted on a rectangular HDF plaque, with a keyhole in the back for wall hanging. The sides and the back of the icon are painted red oxide. Beautiful crystal epoxy varnish finish.

Typically Slavic icons lean more realistic, however these "Russian style" icons offered here are very much in the Byzantine tradition but with a slightly different look that I appreciate. I don't if they can be considered "Russian", but I like the style more than the Greek, even if they are very similar. This is my 3rd Russian icon from the sisters and their work is great, speedy, and their communication is superb.
