St. Maximos (Maximus) the Confessor, was a 7th-century monk, theologian, and defender of the Orthodox faith, renowned for opposing the heresy of Monothelitism. Despite persecution, imprisonment, and suffering for his confession of Christ, he remained steadfast in defending the true teaching of the Church and is honored for his profound spiritual writings and witness to the faith.

Half-bust high-quality Byzantine icon print from the original written by the sisters of the monastery, mounted and laminated on an HDF plaque, with a keyhole in the back for wall hanging.

Specifications

Wood trim is painted Byzantine red. Icons with a gold gilded background are finished with a durable epoxy varnish that gives a beautiful crystal-like finish.

You may choose the language used for the saint’s name on the icon. Please note that some traditional inscriptions or scroll texts appearing within the icon image may remain in the original language of the icon prototype (such as Greek or Slavonic).

Plaque size is according to your order. Weight varies depending on size (ascending order): 350 g, 380 g, 735 g, 1.3 kg.
