Saturday of Souls, June 3 2023

Our Holy Orthodox Christian Church, like a loving and caring mother, daily, at every divine service offers up prayers for all her children who have departed for the land of eternity. Furthermore, this coming Saturday before Pentecost, June 3 2023, is the Saturday of Souls. On this day, our Holy Church allows us to commemorate all our departed loved ones and also remembers all her children that have left this earthly life and perhaps remain unknown to others.
The memorial service will be celebrated at the monastery this coming Saturday, following the Divine Liturgy. Whoever wishes to send a donation with the baptismal names of their orthodox departed brethren and loved ones may do so.
