Monastery's Nativity Celebrations 2021

COVID 19 UPDATE DECEMBER 31ST 2021

Due to the new government regulations as of December 31st at 5:00 pm, the monastery’s church will remain completely closed. Access to the public will be restricted, for lighting candles, for personal prayer or for the veneration of icons until the regulations are lifted.

We thank you for your understanding and wish you all a good and blessed year with much physical and spiritual health granted from our gift giver Lord.

May the grace and blessing of our Mother of God the Consolatory protect you from every evil, offer you motherly comfort and take care of all your needs. Amen.

 

The feast day of the Nativity of Christ and the feast day of the Circumcision of Christ and Saint Basil the Great will be celebrated on the eve of the feasts respectively on

  • Vigil for the Nativity of Christ : Friday December 24th 2021 at 9:30 pm
  • Vigil for the Circumcision of Christ and Saint Basil : Friday December 31st 2021 at 7:30 pm.
  • There will be no celebration of the Divine Liturgy on Christmas day, Saturday morning, December 25th 2021 nor on New Year day, Saturday morning, January 1st 2022.

Furthermore, please take note that the monastery and the boutique will remain closed to the public on both days.
